Over the past five years, our managing director Phill Palmer has been a dedicated member of the “FORE” Business community, attending golf networking events throughout the UK. If you know Phill, I’m sure he’s mentioned golf once or twice 🙂
Golf and Networking Combined
If you haven’t heard of “FORE” Business before, it’s a fantastic blend of two passions: golf and networking. Phill has used this opportunity to expand his professional network, share new ideas with other business directors, and build relationships with new suppliers to enhance our service offerings. Over the years, he’s discovered that combining golf with business networking is a unique and effective way to forge strong connections.

These rounds have allowed Phill to connect with other business leaders on a personal level, starting relationships that go beyond traditional networking events.
It’s Not Just Golf
“If it wasn’t for FORE Business, Teknobu wouldn’t be here now. My introductions in FORE have been crucial to the ongoing relationships that have invested in me and my ideas to where we are today with Teknobu. I’ve been out injured but still been in touch with key contacts throughout the network. It’s not just golf though, it’s also been a great opportunity to get out of the office, once a month (or more if you’re a flexi member), to enjoy breakfast, networking and then 4 hours losing lots of golf balls and maybe, if you’re lucky, win the coveted red shirt.”
What It means for us
Phill’s experience with “FORE” Business has been instrumental to us all here at Teknobu and will continue to be a valuable sales and support tool into the future. With the membership comes a flexible approach to attendance, a four-ball to use throughout the month, and the chance to participate in an additional networking event anywhere in the UK each month.
